Delete your account or data
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your Incy Links account, or some of the data in it, and what happens to that data afterwards. It covers the Incy Links website and the Incy Links apps for iPhone and Android. Incy Links is operated by Stacksy Pty Ltd.
Delete your account
An Incy Links account belongs to an organisation: its people, its links and their click history. An admin of the organisation can delete all of it:
- Sign in at incy.my in a web browser. The phone apps cannot delete an account.
- Open Settings, then Danger zone.
- Type the confirmation word shown on that page, then choose Delete.
The organisation and everything in it are deleted straight away. This cannot be undone, and its short links stop working.
Or ask us to do it
Email kristen@stacksy.com.au from the email address on your account and ask for the account to be deleted. We confirm the request with you, then delete the account within 30 days.
If you are a team member and not an admin, ask an admin of your organisation to remove you, or email us at the same address.
Delete some of your data and keep the account
- A link and its click history: delete the link, on the website or in the app. Its click history and QR code are deleted with it.
- Folders and tags: delete them under Settings, on the website or in the app.
- A team member: an admin can deactivate a person under Settings, then Users, which stops them signing in, and delete them once their links have been deleted.
- Anything else we hold about you: email kristen@stacksy.com.au and tell us what you want removed. We reply within 30 days.
What is deleted
Deleting an account removes:
- every person in the organisation: names, email addresses and passwords (which are only ever stored in hashed form)
- all links, with their click history, tags, folders, QR codes, bio pages and UTM presets
- custom domains, API keys and app sign-ins
Any paid subscription is cancelled at the same time.
What we keep, and for how long
- Billing records: invoices and payment records are kept by Stripe, our payment provider, and in our own accounts, as Australian tax law requires. This is typically 7 years.
- Backups: a deleted account can remain in our backups for up to 30 days, after which those copies are gone too.
- Server logs: kept for up to 30 days.
The Privacy Policy has the full detail on what we collect and how long we keep it.
